Eon is Ben Tennyson, who is permanently stuck in alien form of the Omnitrix, who's personality was taken over. Eon is the principal villain of Ben 10: Race Against Time, played by Christien Anholt. He is the first alien The Plumbers ever caught, having come to Earth nearly two centuries earlier. He seeks to use a device called the Hands of Armageddon to open a temporal rift to his home dimension, bringing forth an invasion force that can conquer the planet. To complete his plan, Eon requires Ben, who has the Omnitrix.

History[]

Eon has a plan to activate the Hands of Armageddon uses dumb ape-like aliens to help him use the Omnitrix to turn Ben Tennyson into a younger version of himself showing some control of the Omnitrix, due to the fact that the Hands of Armageddon needed the energy of a young Chronian to activate. He also deactivated the fail safe so his DNA would completely overtake Ben's personality, essentially changing Ben into a clone of himself and leaves the seen of the crime. As Eon, Ben activates the Hands of Armageddon which will start an alien invasion, but returns to normal after Gwen Tennyson manages to reach Ben inside Eon young. Afterward, the real Eon appears to try to attack him for revenge but as Wildmutt, Ben manages to send Eon crashing into the Hands of Armageddon, destroying them in a huge explosion of pink energy, seemingly killing Eon as well.

Powers and Abilities[]

Eon possesses vast time-manipulation powers. He can stop time relative to himself or others, age objects rapidly through directed energy blasts, and throw people with great force by rewinding time and releasing it suddenly. He also says he can travel through time but doing so badly weakens his body. He is also able to disrupt the Omnitrix, which contains his DNA.

  • Christien Anholt, in a behind-the-scenes video hosted on Cartoon Network's video service, says that parts of the character are inspired by Darth Vader, whom Anholt is a fan of.
